Refund policy
Please review our return and refund policy below.
1. Eligibility for Returns
- Timeframe: You may return items within 30 days of the delivery date. Once this period has passed we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.
- Condition: Products must be unused, in as-new condition with tags, and in their original packaging. This includes the original box, packaging material, contents, accessories, and/or manuals. Items altered, damaged, washed, worn, or missing these elements (i.e., not in “sellable” condition) cannot be accepted for return.
- Proof of Purchase: A receipt or order confirmation from Hampton Cycles is required and must accompany the product being returned.
- Shipping Costs: Hampton Cycles will not refund the shipping costs paid for the initial purchase. Return shipping is at the expense of the customer. We will only refund the cost of the returned product if it meets our return criteria (see below for products that we do not accept for return under our change of mind policy).
- Specific Warranty Terms: Certain technical products may have specific warranty terms.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Sale items or items marked as final sale
- Custom-built or personalised products
- Gift cards
- Water bottles
- Food/Nutrition products
- Hygiene-related items, including helmets, saddles, bib shorts and inner tubes
- Hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases (such as lubricant or cleaners)
- Items purchased from sources other than www.hamptoncycles.com.au must be returned to the original place of purchase
3. Return Process
- Contact Us: To initiate a return, please contact us at info@hamptoncycles.com.au with your order number and reason for the return
- Return instructions: We will provide you with instructions on how to return the item. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
- Inspection: Once we receive the returned item, it will be inspected. We will notify you if your refund is approved. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of receipt.
You are responsible for returning items to us in a manner that ensures their safety and security to prevent loss or damage. For items valued over $100, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Please note that we do not guarantee receipt of returned items.
Goods that do not follow this return process may not be processed.
4. Refunds
- Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 7-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
5. Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the return process and place a new order for the desired product. Exchanges are subject to product availability.
6. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund and cover the return shipping costs.
